Assistant Professor Dr. Wikit Phinrub, Assistant Vice-President for the Trang Campus and Head of the Trang-Krabi Blue Swimming Crab Bank Project, as well as a faculty member of the Department of Aquaculture and Fishery Products, Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Trang Campus, has been awarded a Gold Medal and two Excellence Awards for his outstanding innovation presentation at the international competition “EURO POLITEHNICUS 2024” held in Bucharest, Romania, from November 22–24, 2024.
Dr. Phinrub’s accolades were presented for his research and innovation project, “Blue Swimming Crab Bank for Environmental Restoration,” submitted under the auspices of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), the official nominator representing Thailand. This recognition highlights his contribution to environmental restoration through the innovative concept of a crab bank.
