Asst. Prof. Manoch Kamcharoen, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, along with Dr. Nathathai Krebs, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, attended the meeting on the “Dugong and Seagrass Crisis in Trang Province” on Tuesday, January 21, 2024, at the meeting room of the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology. The meeting was organized in collaboration with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, dugong and seagrass experts from Australia, and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Asst. Prof. Pontep Wirachwong, Head of the Department of Marine Science and Environment, served as the presenter of the report. The group also visited seagrass areas on various islands in Trang Province to assess the situation.
