The Environmental Conservation Club’s project, “Plastic Bottle Brooms: Reviving Recycled Waste,” was evaluated and received a Gold Standard rating from the Green Youth Project, an initiative assessing environmental activities by university students for the year 2024.

The Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology would like to extend its congratulations and appreciation to the Environmental Conservation Club for their project, “Plastic Bottle Brooms: Reviving Recycled Waste.” Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Nuchanat Nilaor, the project was evaluated and achieved a Gold Standard rating in the assessment of youth environmental activities within the university (Green Youth) for the year 2024, conducted by the Department of Climate Change and Environment. Assistant Professor Sitthichok Chanyong, Vice President of the Trang Campus, delegated Assistant Professor Dr. Wikit Pinrap, Associate Dean of Student Development, to receive the honorary award on behalf of the university from Dr. Pirun Saiyasitpanich, Director-General of the Department of Climate Change and Environment, who presided over the award ceremony at the CCE Children & Youth Forum and the Award Ceremony for the Climate Change and Environmental Youth Network 2024. The event was held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at TK Palace Hotel & Convention, Bangkok.
