A study group from the Faculty of Agriculture, Princess of Naradhiwas University, visited to observe and learn about oyster farming, shrimp farming, and seaweed cultivation.

Assistant Professor Manoch Khamcharoen, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, along with Dr. Nuthathai Krebs, Associate Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, faculty members, and fisheries scholars, welcomed faculty and students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Princess of Naradhiwas University, Narathiwat District, Narathiwat, during their visit to the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, on Friday, September 6, 2024. The visit focused on oyster farming, with Assistant Professor Dr. Supatcha Choosiangjaew, an instructor from the Aquaculture Department, providing knowledge on oyster cultivation and leading the tour of the model learning center for oyster farming in earthen ponds.

After that, the group visited the farm and the Enterprise Unit to study shrimp farming, seaweed cultivation, and aquaculture feed preparation. Ms. Natenapa Sujarit, a fisheries scholar, provided knowledge to the students, aiming to help them gain practical learning experiences that they can apply and use to generate income from fisheries careers in the future.
